Ethical Code and Control Mechanisms

The Emissary’s Oath – Certification Pledge:

  1. Scientific Integrity: I will rely only on evidence-based medicine and open science. I will not disseminate unverified information, pseudoscientific theories, or promote commercial interests under the guise of health.
  2. Cultural Humility: I will listen carefully and learn from the community, rather than imposing ready-made solutions. I respect local traditions, beliefs, and social structures.
  3. Safety and Harmlessness: My actions must not cause physical, psychological, or social harm. In crisis situations, I will act within my competencies and in coordination with local authorities and international organizations.
  4. Transparency and Accountability: I will be open regarding my project funding sources and potential conflicts of interest. I will measure and report on the impact of my activities.
  5. Global Solidarity: I will advocate for the right to health for all, especially for vulnerable and demoralized population groups. I will not discriminate on any social basis.

Control Mechanisms:

  • Ethical Committee: A body of Masters elected by the Council of Emissaries to review complaints and complex cases.
  • Transparent Reporting: All Emissary projects undergo mandatory public reporting (simplified for Agents, detailed for Envoys).
  • Regular Re-certification (every 3 years): Mandatory confirmation of knowledge, skills, and compliance with the Code through testing and the defense of a current project.
  • Anonymous Notification System (Whistleblowing): For reporting violations of the Code and unethical behavior.

9. Visual Identity and Brand Experience

Our Policy – Corporate Identity in Action:

  • For Emissaries: Minimalist badge (lapel pin) – a stylized tree/wing made of blue and gold metal. Mission uniform – functional, modest, neutral color (gray/light wave) with a small embroidered symbol on the sleeve.
  • For Events: Design of badges, stands, and presentations – strict, with an emphasis on typography and the symbol. Use of a large amount of “air” (whitespace).
  • Digital Environment: Website and learning platform – intuitive, with a focus on the community (Emissary profiles, project map). Visual metaphors: tree growth, spreading of light, connection between nodes.
  • Photo Style: Authentic, emotional, but non-staged photos. Emissaries in dialogue with people, working on projects, in reflection. Many close-ups of hands, eyes, and smiles. No “Hollywood-style” idealization.
  • Brand Voice: “Wise companion.” Tone of communication – respectful, inspiring, but not moralizing. Language of speech – clear, jargon-free, with examples. Emphasis on stories of real people (Emissaries and those they have beneficially changed), rather than abstract concepts.

Our moral focus on this deep and long-term strategic development turns the basic principles of the IHE into a financially sustainable and ethically impeccable global initiative and a full-fledged concept capable of becoming a catalyst for systemic changes in public health.
